We hold auditions several times a year. If you missed it, email us your headshot (or simply a recent picture) and your resume at jen@thirdspacetheatre.com and we'll email you back to schedule an informal FaceTime audition to see if working together would be mutually beneficial. You will need to prepare a 1 minute comedic monologue and be ready to cold-read sides from our current show.
Pay:
$12 - $17 per hour
Childern's Theatre shows are usually a 2 hour gig.
Adult Murder Mysteries are 3 - 4 hour gigs.
Paid rehearsals.
In Lancaster:
We usually have 2 - 8 shows a month booked per month. You need only to sign-up to perform in the shows you can. We are used to working around actor's busy schedules. You will have 3 rehearsals to learn your role. After that, all pre-show-rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings, and are only for the actors who are scheduled to perform that weekend. After you are familiar with the show, you don't have to come to every pre-show rehearsal. You can simply brush up with your cast before the performance.
In Ocean City, MD:
Currently, we are casting for the 2020 summer season at the
Grand Hotel in Ocean City MD.
We might perform once a week in Rehobeth Beach as well.

Rehearsals begin June 24th.
Shows begin on July 1st
and run until August 15th.
We plan on performing 1- 4 afternoon Children's shows and 1 - 4 evening Murder Mysteries each week during the summer. Actors will do boardwalk advertising on Monday and Tuesday evenings and perform between Wednesday and Saturday. Not every actor will need to participate in boardwalk advertising every day. We would like to cast 2 Females and 2 Males for the summer season. We will cast understudies for occasional subbing positions. Applicants must have local housing and reliable transportation.
